Wade Barker, Managing Director, Jim Green, Technical Director, and Andrew Watson, Regional Director, each from Envos. This is a leading firm of consultants who advise on carbon reduction, including carbon trading under the CRC Energy Efficiency Scheme. Resource Directors, Estate Managers and Finance Directors in a variety of sectors. What is it about? The CRC Energy Efficiency Scheme (the new name for the Carbon Reduction Commitment) begins in April 2010 and will see the introduction of a carbon trading system for organisations in the UK which use a fairly large amount of energy. The session will provide an introduction to the CRC Energy Efficiency Scheme. Why should I attend? If the CRC Energy Efficiency Scheme applies to your organisation you need to register before April 2010. Attending the session will give you an opportunity to find out if you may need to register. For those who are caught by the Scheme you are recommended to take early action to prepare for your entry into the Scheme, and maximise your position in it. There will be opportunity to network with other senior managers and to meet experts from Envos and our firm so you can learn more about the Scheme and its commercial implications, and what to do next.
